"I will Sing"-20th August 2006
It was another time in God's presence during the just concluded annual youth sunday tagged "i will sing. It featured "Laolu and Da integrity youths" in the presence of God on the 20th of August. The programme marked the first year anniversary of the RCCG pathfinder youth forum. I was highly elated that the program came to pass. The planning of the programme which started about 5 months ago came into limelight with features like Songs, Raps, Dance, Da word, Drama, instrumentals and lot more.
In total, we had a team of 16 youths in the house who earnestly made a difference as well as a great congregation who worshipped in His(God's) presence. Acknowledging the fact that garnering the mental attitude towards the spiritual concept of the program seemed a difficult feat, God was a source of inspiration.
Big up's to God for making the day a reality, and kudo's to everyone that worked so hard towards perfection.
1. Dapo ( The Rap was an inspiration...i simply can't stop huming the chorus)
2. Sam (Despite a poor performance during rehearsals, The showdown was more than enough)
3. Lamide (Peace, Love and Harmony, isnt that what we need?)
4. Jumoke (I still repeat, you are the best secretary we have, A mother-in-israel indeed)
5. Dare (Wish i can have those fingers of yours and play the keyboard, like you do....lol)
6. Laolu ( a Pastor in the making, God sees your dedication more than i do)
7. Emmanuel (God is your srength, he is definitely with you)
8. Dayo (You and that beaming smile, it rejuvenate us all)
9. Fisayo ( Now,m that back up singing was terrific)
10.Uju (You were outstanding with the offering, God is your strength)
11.Emmanuel ( The best Trombonist pathfinder parish ever had, That was a good presentation)
12.Tiwadayo ( The back-up was good, what would we do without you?)
13.Tosin ( Thank you so much for been there, God is your strength)
14. Jeff (That MCing was good, it was beyond my expectations)
15.(for all other's that i forgot to mention, God bless you all.)
A special thank's to G-dep as well, for gracing the event with their dance steps. they surely did dance like David did in the bible times. It was awesome.
Laolu, dwelled so much on the significance of Praising God. He cited the example of David as well as Paul and silas who praised God in their cell until the foundations of their cell shook and the doors opened.
The host, Pastor Wale Hamzat later as well, prayed for the youths. It was a sizzling presence as we all trooped forward for blessings.
It was a canal way to end the day of spiritual significance, as the welfare department of the church treated us to the legendary fried rice and Chicken.
