Jesus Face on a Beer Glass!

I could'nt help but wander so much about the depletion of christianity in the UK. Honestly speaking, its getting pathetic how orthodox churches population are dwindling at tremendous rate. I remember living in Barnstaple S.W England for nearly a year, and the local church where i attend is laden with old people above 60 years old. I once asked the Priest-in-charge where all the young people in the town are. He simply shrugged and said "They just don't come to church".

No wonder the churches Advertising Network is creating a campaign to luring people back to church by featuring the face of Jesus as a miraculous apparition on a beer glass. While the board might consider this method a sure effective way of bringing people to church, i still can't pinpoint a good end result for the campaign. My obvious reasons are that, there is nothing the church has to offer people who will flock in. Most of the churches are filled with boring hymns, sermons from Priest who reproduce theological thesis they've learnt in the seminary over 40 years ago. People who are captivated by the Ads and simply desire to come to church will be put off by the deadness in the church that they'll simply be bored and go back to their old way of life.I simply think the church ( i mean everyone that constitue christianity) should go back to the basics of christianity. Actions and decisions of the church should be led by inspiration from God rather than theological experience. Also, i think young people need role models, Much can be said about creationfest, Abandon youths,MODs, they've tried so much in influencing other young people like themselves into gospel music and other youthful activities. Also, i think the church need to pray to God for guidance, and also for showers of blessings from above. I remember He(God) said in his word(bible) that "He will draw men unto Himself".The wisdom of God is paramount, His guidance is everlasting. This is what the Church Advertising Network should realise!
